Online dating simplified by people just like you

So a group of friends and I were discussing our online dating experiences and the pros and cons that came along with certain sites. Everyone had their own crazy/unique story on some of their experiences. My friends Mary and Dennis thought that those of us who had tried it were crazy but were still strangely interested. Dating is not easy these days and we would like to share with you our unique experiences through all of the sites that we have tried. This is a work in progress and we will continue to test sites and give you reviews, but this is what we have come up with for the time being. Hope it helps!

Almost forgot to mention. I have used other dating sites that are 100% FREE. I will be sure to include reviews of those as well.

Unless you live in a cave, you have probably seen commercial after commercial for match.com. Online dating always advertises that happy couple running through the park or the perfect woman who is looking for love and to do your chores.

I have personally tried match.com a couple times and met some good people that I'm still friends with to this day. I myself have not found a match on match.com. However, my friends Brian and Natalie met on there 2 years ago and are engaged now. They are the perfect match for each other. The rich search tools on this site really make it easy to tell if you are compatible with someone or not.

The free 3 day trial is definitely worth taking a look at. The service is so sure of itself that it is backed with a 6 month guarantee.

Free Communication Weekend
chemistry.com

When it comes to online dating sites, I had never really heard too much about chemistry.com. One interesting fact that I found out is that the site was started by Match.com in February of 2006. My main qestion was if match had truely found a new way of finding out if singles were compatible for eachother or if it was just another avenue to make cash. I found that I really like the way that chemistry.com approaches match making. Chemistry basically has a "come as you are" vibe to it. If you take the proprietary test that this site offers, it is really setup to pinpoint someone that there are no middle grounds with.

Please take note that chemistry.com has some exciting new ways to match you up with your better half but does not have as many members as match.com due to its later start date.

Specialized sites for demographic groups

I have never signed up for a demographic specific dating site because I'm open to people from different walks of life. Really though, if you are certain that you only want to date a certain demographic there are sites for you.
I'm not going to sit here and pretend to know about these sites. I only write what I know about, but here is the list with a short description and links.
InterracialSingles.com
PrimeSingles.net 50+ dating
JDate.com Jewish Dating
CatholicMingle.com
SingleParentsMingle.com

ChristianMingle.com

FREE ONLINE DATING!!!
That's right, I said the magic work. I have a lot of experience with the 2 sites that I'm about to discuss. I enjoy free online dating and have gone on many dates from these sites. Along with the free comes a couple sacrifices that can be worked around.

Being that this site is free, you tend to find some pretty damn interesting people on it. The pay sites have a filter that weeds out certain people that should probably be weeded out, but that does not mean that this site does not have potential. This site is filled with fun quizzes and questions that literally can steal free time. The questions and quizzes also help you find good potential matches. I almost failed to mention that this site is filled with cool forums and a chat feature.

The main con to this site is the age demographic that it attracts. There are singles of all ages on this site, but it mainly attracts ages 18-early 20's. Don't let this hold you back, the more options...the better!
